Whole-house electrical refit and switchboard upgrade
Two bathroom heater/fan/light units with new external venting, bathroom power and lighting redone, lounge and dining lighting replaced with new cables fished through the ceiling, new bedroom sockets, wiring for a hot water heat pump, and a switchboard upgrade with MCB and RCD protection bringing the board up to current safety standards. Tested and certified.

Heat pump service and clean
Indoor unit cleaned, filters and coils cleaned, refrigerant levels and amps checked, electrical connections checked, and the overall operation tested.

Downlights throughout and new power points
Supplied and installed ten downlights across the kitchen and living room and eight more across two bedrooms, then replaced the power points with new doubles and swapped out the old switches. Tested and certified.

Oven, hob and hot water heat pump circuits
New dedicated circuits for the oven and hob with isolation switches and RCBO protection, plus the circuit for a hot water heat pump. Tested and certified.

Power points and laundry circuit
Moved the bench point into the wall, added a new point below the bench and one in the laundry, and brought the laundry circuit up to RCD protection.

- Do you handle the electrical side of Healthy Homes?
- We handle the electrical parts - heating, extract ventilation, switchboard safety and the certification that goes with them. Insulation and moisture are not our trade, so we will not pretend otherwise, but we will tell you plainly what the electrical side needs.
- Can you work across several properties?
- Yes, and that is where we are most useful. Where properties are close together we will do them in one run, which keeps the cost per door down and means one lot of paperwork for you.
- How do you charge for callouts?
- Repairs and fault finding are charged for the visit, which covers the callout, travel and the first hour on site, plus certification. Installation work is quoted free and fixed up front. We will tell you which applies before we come out.
- What areas do you cover?
